The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival spans 3-4 weeks during early spring. Honestly, I've been trying for the past 5 years to find day with storm clouds, minimal wind sun breaks and optimum bloom. Finally, on an April afternoon in 2015, I was lucky enough to have all 4 elements come together and was able to capture this shot.
