I spent many hours hunkered down in this cove, hoping to walk away with a composition I could be happy with. On this evening, the sunset coincided with high tide. I watched incoming swells crash to the shoreline, flowing over boulders and finding their way to my feet. Deception Island can be seen in the distance. For me, the water in this image communicates a level of "elegance"
