The sun sets behind the Deception Pass Bridge two times a year — 10 days around the vernal equinox in the spring and another 10 days around the autumnal equinox in the fall.
It's a cool place to hang out during those two 10-day periods; not just for the obvious "photo op" but also for the camaraderie amongst fellow photographers.
There are a ton of images from tons of photographers highlighting the sun and this bridge - but no two are the same……...
